Jack Thomas "Sam" Bass

Mr. Jack T. “Sam” Bass age 80 passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville. The Jacksonville, FL native had lived in Ocala, Florida before moving to Reidsville in 1983. He retired after twenty years of service in the US Army and also retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Faulkner Bass and a son, Howard Bass.
He is survived by his son, George Raymond Bass of Round Rock, Texas; sister-in-law,
Katherine Bass of Reidsville.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will follow at 1:00pm from the Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors rendered by the US Army.
