James Bedgood, age 65 passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Tattnall Healthcare Center. Mr. James was a native of Swainsboro and had lived there for most of his life. He retired as a Sergeant after 14 years with the City of Millen Police Department and with the Swainsboro Police Department after 20 years of service. In his spare time, he loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by his mother, Collene Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Mosely Bedgood of Millen; daughter, Crissy (Jonathan) Evans of Reidsville; grandchildren, Riley and Cayden Evans.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at Eastbrook Cemetery in Swainsboro.
