James Dale Collins, age 66 passed away Tuesday June 3, 2014 at the East Georgia Medical Center in Statesboro. He was an US Air Force Veteran and was a Taxi Cab driver for thirty four years. Preceded in death by his parents, James Elbert Collins and Margaret Ruth Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia W. Collins of Pembroke; children, Jasen Paul (Beverly) Collins of Oklahoma City, Susan Melissa (Richard) Auber of Guyton, and Margaret Ellen (Brandon Padgett) Collins of Brooklet; sister, Marilyn Collins (Thomas) Schultz; grandchildren, Katey and Patrick Middleton, Derrick Covington, Maya Padgett, Brandon Padgett, Christian Padgett;
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with military honors rendered by the US Air Force.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
