Claxton,
Mr. James Kermit DeLoach age 79 passed away early Friday morning July 26, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Living Care Hospice . The Evans County native lived in Claxton most of his life. Mr.DeLoach retired from Claxton Saw Shop after 40 years of service as a small engine mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Carlos DeLoach and Martha Jane Holland Deloach, brothers, Charles, Larry Dean, John L., Odis, Jack and Joe DeLoach.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Crystal Thompson of Claxton, three sons, David DeLoach of Manassas, Kenny DeLoach, and David W. DeLoach both of Claxton, two daughters, Bonnie Glisson of Blichton, and Cathy Dearborn of Cairo, Ga;. One brother, Lonnie DeLoach of Claxton, and two sisters Wanda Rowe of Claxton and Jean Porte of Collins. Grandchildren Kenny DeLoach II, Christie DeLoach, Katie DeLoach ,Shane DeLoach, Dustin DeLoach, Larry Coley Glover Jr., Ryan Glover, Blake Glover, Hope Snead, Kristina Glisson, Jenny Glisson, Farrah Glisson, and Josh Harrelson. Ten Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00p.m. Sunday July 28, 2013 from the funeral home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday July 29, 2013 at 11:00am from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.. Interment will follow in the Canoochee Cemetery in Evans County.
