James S. Padgett, age 58 passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his home on Bluff Lake Road. James was born on August 31, 1964 in Savannah, Georgia to Marcus James, Jr. and Sue Durrence Padgett. He loved the country life and had lived on Bluff Lake Road with his grandparents, Marcus and Theodocia Padgett for many years. James was loved by many and to know him was to love him. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his longtime best friend, Darlene Clinton; step-mother, Betty Padgett; sisters, Julie Miller, Janeen (John) Frame; brothers, Jason Padgett, Jared (Joy) Padgett, Joseph Padgett; also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

James was a very quiet person and in keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
