James Allen Williamson, Jr. age 73, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Community Hospice.  He was born on March 22, 1948 in Lyons to James Allen and Irene Willis Williamson and had lived in Ailey most of his life until moving to Collins in 2010.  He had worked for Union Camp for many years before he became a pipefitter and worked "on the road" for several different companies.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and riding his mule.  Mr. James attended Collins Full Gospel Church in Collins and is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jo Williamson of Collins; children, Eric (Danielle) Williamson of Collins and Carly (Ronald) Sharpe of Soperton; brothers, Larry (Martha) Williamson and Darvin (Peggy) Williamson all of Ailey; grandchildren, Cole Williamson, Carson Colbert, Conner Colbert, and Sarah Sharpe; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the funeral home.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Williamson, Ronald Sharpe, Cole Williamson, Carson Colbert, Conner Colbert, and Sarah Sharpe.

Memorials may be given to Collins Full Gospel Church.
