Claxton

Janet Lee, age 55 passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at her residence.  She was an Evans County native and had lived in Claxton most of her life.  She was a US Air Force veteran serving for 10 years in Spain. Janet was a dedicated nurse working for Dr. Stephen Jordan, attended Rehoboth Baptist Church and was a loving mother to her children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annette Lee; brother, Danny Lee.

Survived by her father, Junior Lee of Claxton; son, John Lee Mendoza of Covington, LA; daughter, Raquel Mendoza (Adam) Whittaker of Claxton; brother Doyt Lee of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Kinsey Whittaker of Claxton; nieces, Nikki Lee and Sierra Strickland.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2015 beginning at 11:00am with a memorial service to follow at 12:00pm from the Glennville Chapel of Low Country Cremation Services and Burial with the Reverend Gary Few officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Lee family.
