Janice Marie Bailey, age 63, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.  She was born in Dublin on August 26, 1959 and had lived in Wilkerson, Baldwin, and Candler Counties for many years before moving to Lyons in 1998.  She had worked for Care Transport and enjoyed dancing and working crossword puzzles.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She is a member of Blocker Chapel Church and is preceded in death by her parents, Alene Snow and James H. Snow; sister, Judy Carol Hendrix; and a special friend, Virginia Diane Jenkins.

She is survived by her companion of many years, Jonathan Derrick Jenkins, Sr. of Lyons; children, Bonnie Barber and Allison Bailey both of Metter; stepchildren, Johnny Jenkins, Beverly Jenkins both of Vidalia and David Jenkins of Reidsville; siblings, Margie Cousinio of Macon, Thomas Lee Ramage, Jr., of Milledgeville, and Joe Ramage of Irwinton; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm on Monday, November 7, 2022 with the memorial funeral services following at 6:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial in Reidsville.
