Jason Keller Nobles age 48 passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home in Glennville after a lengthy illness. Jason was born on January 26, 1969 and attended Long County High School in Ludowici and Bradwell Institute in Hinesville. He later attended the University of Georgia. He was employed with his family in the restaurant business for over twenty years and later graduated from the Police Academy while working for the Georgia Department of Transportation. He then worked with his brother and father in the family billboard advertising business. He was an avid follower of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. He loved being with family and friends and was admired for his generous heart and friendly manner. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Miller Nobles and his father, Marcus H. Nobles Jr.
He is survived by his brothers, Marc Nobles (Susan) of Glennville and Tony Thompson (Dena) of Metter; nieces, Stephanie Tatum, Elizabeth Tatum, Tarah Thompson and Haley Thompson; nephews, Nicolas Nobles and William Tatum Jr. along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, August 4, 2017 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Howard officiating. Interment will be at Pigot Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Long County. Pallbearers will be Daniel N. Dreggors, Madison R. Waters, Mathew L. Waters, Hugh J. McCullough, Kenneth L. Ball, Scott A. Tootle and Gerald E. Nobles, Jr.
