Mr. Jay West Riner , age 51, of Collins passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his home.  Mr. Riner was born December 21, 1965 in Jacksonville, Florida, to Ronald and Francis Davis Riner and grew up in Lyons, GA.  He was a Carpet Installer all of his adult life and was a member of Hammond Baptist Church in Lyons.  Jay adored his wife and children.  He was so very proud of the Godly man his son, Chris grew to be.  Jessica was the true definition of “Daddy’s Girl”.  His three grandchildren had his heart and had papa wrapped around  their little fingers.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Davis Riner, paternal grandfather, Rhodus Riner, and maternal grandmother, Abbie Patterson.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Therese Graham Riner; father, Ronald (Christine) Riner; maternal grandmother, Etheleen Riner; son, Christopher Jay (Lindsay) Riner; daughter, Jessica Renee (Nolan) Warnock; brothers, Tommy Riner and Mark Riner; grandchildren, Cassie, Jeremiah, and Colton; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm on Thursday, February 16, 2017 with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverend Daniel Caraway officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Hackle, Adam Scott, Jonathan Caraway, Clifford Finch, Will Krulic, Richard Clark, Michael Clark.
