Reidsville,
Jean Claude Poulin, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday February 5, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. The Quebec Canada native will always be remembered as a person who loved to work with his hands. As such, he was a carpenter for most of his professional career. After his service in the US Army in the late 60’s he moved to Reidsville, where he spent over 30 years of his life. Claude had a real love for the people of Tattnall County and could often be found helping his fellow citizens. He worked for many years with Concerted Services, a local not for profit, remodeling and rebuilding countless homes in the area. Claude is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Therese Poulin of Maine; 4 sons; 2 step-sons; 1 daughter; 1 step daughter; 3 brothers; 1 sister, and numerous other relatives to include grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family in an open visitation and remembrance service on Saturday February 7, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Tattnall Cares, PO BOX 2356 Reidsville GA 30453 in Claude’s memory.
