Jeanne' Marie Love

TYBEE ISLAND - Jeanne-Marie (Puckett) Love, 50, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by loving family and friends.

Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her son, Bo Knowles, and her father, Jim Puckett.

She is survived by her husband, Ernie Love of Tybee Island, GA.; daughter, Leslie (Tim) Milam; son, Sonny Knowles; grandson Oliver Milam; mother, Audrey Puckett; sisters Michelle Puckett, Jaime (Darrell) Lawrimore; Nina (Johnny) Idol, all of Gainesville, GA., and Bonnie (David) Owen of Hendersonville, TN., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Love was a graduate of Headland High School in Atlanta.

As a teenager, she was an accomplished ballerina performing with the Atlanta Ballet Company and a cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons.

For the last eight years, Mrs. Love made her home in Tybee Island, GA where she enjoyed performing with the band and leading the children's Sunday services for the Simplehearted Ministries at Tybee Church.

Church attendees spoke of her whimsical spirit and unconditional love. “If you know Jeanne Marie, then you've lost a friend on this earth,” said Samual Adams, psalmist at the Tybee

church.

Visitation and service is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 804 Jones Ave., Tybee Island, GA.
