Jennifer M. Johnson, age 60 passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at Community Hospice after a long illness. She was born in Metter on October 24, 1961 to Levi and Cubie Jane McCormick Johnson and had lived in Tattnall County for over 30 years. She was employed with the Georgia Department of Corrections for 20 years and then worked in home health care for an additional 20 years. She was well known in Tattnall and Candler Counties. In her free time, she loved to read books. Jennifer was a dedicated mother, grandmother and sister who was always there to lend a hand. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother; Levi Johnson, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Megan Johnson (son-in-law, Justin Myers) and Kristin Johnson; brothers, Kenneth Johnson, David Johnson, Levester Smith, and Randy Collins ; sisters, Lela Burton and Pamela Johnson; nieces and nephews, Erica Burton, Kayla Burton  and Alexandria Johnson; grandchildren, Shaniyah Johnson, Kasey Perkins, Kasayah Johnson and Kasandra Johnson; great nieces, Eryssa Kelley and Daysha Kelley; aunt, Earlean Ellis; brother and sister in law; Ernest Burton and Charise Johnson;  minister and classmate, Pamela Hobbs.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial at 1:00pm.
