Obituary

Jerald R. DeLoach, age, 64 of Shellman Bluff formerly of Ludowici, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, after a brief illness at Liberty Regional Medical Center under the care of hospice. He was a retired environmentalist with the US Government at Ft. Stewart and a member of First Baptist Church in Ludowici. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Randolph DeLoach, Sister, Glenda “Sissy” DeLoach, and a nephew, William “Billy” DeLoach.

Survived by his mother, Frances DeLoach of Ludowici. Daughter, Jodi DeLoach Combs of Ludowici. Brother, Randall (Gale) DeLoach of Ludowici. Niece, Deanna (Robert) Parker of Ludowici. Great-niece, Caelyn Rozier of Ludowici. Great-nephews, Craig (Lydia) DeLoach of Ludowici, Zachary DeLoach of Waycross. Grandchildren, Trey Combs and Aaron Combs both of Ludowici.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Baggs Cemetery in Ludowici with the Reverend Brian Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Turner, Don Metts, Larry Middleton, Freddy Goode, Johnny Gordon, Donald Gordon, Jesse Kelley.
