Jerry Lee Edwards, age 39, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice with his Pastors by his side.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He had worked at Palmer’s Furniture as there warehouse manager.  Jerry loved to work in his yards, fishing and singing.  He attended the Reidsville Church of God.

He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Lizzie Edwards of Reidsville; siblings, Mary Elizabeth Edwards (Billy) Smith of Reidsville, Eugene (Judy) Edwards Jr. of Lyons, Rebecca Edwards of Reidsville, Gary (Mandy) Edwards of Glenwood, and Sarah Edwards of Reidsville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm on Thursday from the Reidsville Church of God.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Friday, March 25, 2016 from the Reidsville Church of God with the Reverends William and Linda Prince officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rocky Hutcheson, Micheal Kersey, Jonathon Edwards, Jimmy Boyd, Stoney Hopkins, and Tim Miracle.
