Jerry L. “Butch” Shuman, age 58, passed away Wednesday October 11, 2017 at his residence.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He was a carpenter and previously had worked with the City of Reidsville.  He loved to go shrimping and fishing.  Butch is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Shuman.

He is survived by his daughter, Bridgette Shuman of Collins; mother, Julia Herrington of Reidsville; aunt, Ruth (Bill) Bailey of Florida; and two grandchildren, Trey and Makayla Wedincamp.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 10:00am Friday, October 13, 2017 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.
