Jesse Asbury Brewer, age 80, passed away on Saturday May 25, 2024 after battling an extended illness, under the compassionate care of Regency Southern Care Hospice. The native of Lando, West Virginia was born to William Riley and Ada Juanita (Sampselle) Brewer on September 13,1943. Following his graduation, he would enlist in the United States Air Force and go on to serve in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge from the military; much of his life would be spent in the Toombs County area where he would work for a number of years at both Oxford Industries and Davis Supply. In his free time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Additionally, God blessed him with musical talents including singing and playing the guitar. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Denmark; siblings, Penny Hatfield, Chief Brewer, Deloris Hatfield, and Mary E. Schultz, and Jacob Williams.
Left to celebrate a life well lived are his children, Jessica (Andy) White and Randall Holley; grandchildren, Melayna Denmark, Brett White, Drew White, Annabell Holley, and Alex Holley; siblings, Jack (Wanda) Brewer, Rita (Dan) Thompson, Kathy Ward, Nita (Dan) Mason, Linda (Tom) Daniels, Paula Patrick, Charlotte (Phillip) Grooms, Sharon Stephens, Kevin (Elizabeth) Williams, and William (Billy) Brewer; sister in law, Gale Brewer; step brothers and sisters, Charles Williams, Edith Lyons, and Cheryl Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
In accordance with Jesse’s wishes, the family plans to celebrate his life by returning him to the locations that was most dear to him during his life during a private scattering service.
