Joanne Andrew, aged 61, died peacefully on July, 16, 2014 at Hospice of Golden Isles in Brunswick, Ga, after a brief struggle with cancer. Joanne was born August 8, 1952, in Beverly, Massachusetts, the daughter of Elizabeth Berube. On Aug 12, 1972, Joanne married the love of her life and best friend David Andrew. They lived for many years in the New England area before moving permanently to South Georgia. They were married for 41 blissful years. In addition to raising their three children, Joanne thoroughly enjoyed spending her time with her husband David and beloved dog Bailey while going to yard sales, auctions, casinos and enjoying the simple things in life. She also enjoyed spending time in the Missouri country with her very close friends David and Sharon Tillman.
Joanne is survived by her husband, David Andrew; sons, Robert Andrew, Peter Andrew and significant other Charlotte Morris; daughter, Tara Strickland and husband Wayne Strickland; Daughter in-law, Susan Andrew; sister, Charlene Viger; seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives and close friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
