Joelene "Jody" Davidson age 64 passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles. She was born in Waycross GA. on December 23, 1951. She spent several years as a bartender for the American Legion Post #137 and was a previous Ladies Auxiliary president. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Taylor; father, George Strickland; brother, Bobby Taylor; sister, Adrian Dawson.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily Iler; granddaughter, Laura Iler; brother, Allen (Donna) Griffin; nephews, Taylor Dawson, Lamar Griffin, Shon Griffin, Walt Dawson and Wendell Dawson; nieces, Sheila Crismon and Abby Griffin.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the American Legion Post #136 in Darien, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in her name to the American Legion Post #137.
