Reidsville,
Mr. John E. Frost, Sr . age 70, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at his residence. The Bulloch County native had lived in Tattnall County most of his life. He was a truck driver, mechanic, and a former Correctional Officer. He loved to take his grandchildren fishing. Mr. John attended Pulaski Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, JW and Maudie Frost and his father and mother in law, Hazel and Sue Nell Stanfield.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Stanfield Frost of Reidsville; children, Sharon (Mark) Hadden of Vidalia, John (Tiffany) Frost, Jr., Kathy (Charles) Martin of Glennville, Joey (Wendy) Frost of Metter, and Jamie (April) Frost of Cobbtown; siblings, Jack Frost and Barbara Angela (Cohen) Kitchens all of Statesboro, Gary (Cindy) Frost of Leefield, Sylvia (Remer) NeSmith of Metter, Dianne (Clayton) Bell of Brooklet, Dorothy (Billy) Gillespie of Statesboro, Lynette Galicia of Statesboro, Melissa Ann Frost of Memphis, TN, and Missy Holcombe of Claxton; fourteen grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm from the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Andrew Huffingham officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Ambrose, Paul Barnard, Brian Frost, Franklin Goff, Jay Garcia, and Mark Smith, Sr.
