Mr. John Arthur Haynes, age 58, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Optim Medical Center Tattnall in Reidsville.  He was born May 3, 1960 in Hawkinsville, GA to Vance Bert and Eunice Pauline Fordham Haynes.  He had lived in Toombs County most of his life until recently moving to Reidsville.  He was an US Army Veteran and worked for many years at the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.  Mr. John was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.  He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vearl, Vance, Dearl, Charles, Bobby, Early, Lonnie, Byron, Gerald, and Albert Haynes; and a sister, Eunice Haynes.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Trina Haynes of Reidsville; children, John V. (Tina) Haynes of Harvard, MA, Sunshine H. Gibson of Cobbtown, Scottie Haynes of Washington State, Richard Haynes of Hawkinsville, Shae Haynes of Reidsville, and Michael Carey of Brunswick; grandchildren, Chase Mixon, Gunnar Haynes, Tyler Haynes, Miclo Gibson, Carlos Gibson and Adrianna Gibson; great grandchild, Aylen R. Mixon; brothers, Marion Haynes and Earl (Sue) Haynes; sisters, Vodice H. (Bobby) Faircloth, Nettie H. (James) Carr, Thelma H. Neuman, Barbara Ann (Hugh) Meeks; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00pm Thursday, October 18, 2018 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.
