Johnnie Merle (White) Wilkes

Vidalia GA,

Ms. Johnnie Merle Wilkes, age 75, passed away on July 21, 2017 after a short battle with cancer under the loving care of Community Hospice in Vidalia. The Laurens County native was a homemaker for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parent; a husband, Paul Wilkes and a daughter, Tammy McCrimmon.

She leaves behind two daughters, Teresa McCrimmon and Areatha McCrimmon; 5 brothers; 1 sister; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 2pm Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Blockers Chapel Church, 2119 Thompson Pond Road Vidalia GA, with Rev. Albert White officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Snowhill Community Church Cemetery in Glenwood GA.
