Johnny Paul Braswell, a beloved member of the Covington community, passed away on January 5, 2024, at Dodge County Hospital after a brief illness. Born and raised in Covington, Georgia, on April 17, 1963, Johnny was the son of George and Ruth Braswell, both of whom have preceded him in death.
Johnny leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his three brothers, George, Michael, and Reginald Braswell. In addition to his brothers, Johnny is remembered by his twin daughters, Laquisha and Makesha Bolden, and their families, which include nine cherished grandchildren.
For two decades, Johnny dedicated himself to providing plumbing services to the community, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those he served. His commitment and hard work earned him the respect and gratitude of many in Covington.
A memorial service to celebrate Johnny's life will be held at Lake Verna in Covington on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. This serene location held a special place in Johnny's heart, as it was where he loved to spend his time fishing. Friends, family, and acquaintances are invited to join in remembrance and share stories of Johnny's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Johnny's name to a local charity or organization of your choice. Johnny's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
