Johnny "Mac" McCrimmons, age 75 passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Pine Pointe Hospice Facility. He was a native of Macon and lived there all of his life. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He graduated from Dudley Hughes High School, lettering in baseball and football. He was a yo-yo winner and champion in 1952 and was a glass man employed with Pittsburgh and Jones Glass for over 40 Years. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny McCrimmons, Jr; sisters, Faye Thompson and Peggy Holzclaw.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Grace McCrimmons; daughter, Penny Kare of Kentucky; step-sons, Dwayne Maddox of Macon and Tim (Cindy)Colvin of Smarr, GA; sister, Mary Alice Harshaw; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

A memorial service will be held 4:00pm Friday, April 10, 2015 from the Chapel of Pine Pointe Hospice Facility, 6261 Peake Rd. Macon.
