Jonathan Emanuel Medina, age 7, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Bethany Hospice.  Jonathan was born February 18, 2013 in Vidalia and had lived in Glennville all of his life.  He attended Smiley Elementary School in Ludowici.  He loved playing soccer, with his Legos and his stuffed puppy.  Jonathan attended Live Rock Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his parents, Salomon and Rosa Medina; siblings, Solomon Jr.  and Abygail Medina, paternal grandparents, Gumaro and Yolanda Castillo; maternal grandparents, Mario and Tina Nevarez all of Glennville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Glennville Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, October 18, 2020 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Reverend Camilo Castillo officiating.  Interment will follow in the Glennville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mario Nevarez, Gumaro Castillo, Carlos Perez and Jorge Joya.
