Jose Alfredo “Freddy” Hernandez, Jr. age 31 passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his residence. He was a native of Miami, Florida, moving to Georgia in 1995. Freddy was a loving son, husband and father who truly enjoyed spending time with his family. In his spare time, he loved to cook, listen to music, ride dirt roads and watch the Atlanta Falcons.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Medders of Glennville; daughter, Athena Alejandra Hernandez; parents, Jose A. Hernandez and Teresa Cordova both of Glennville; siblings, Oscar Hernandez (Zuleyma Cruz), Ashley Hernandez and Tiffany Anahi Reyes all of Glennville; grandparents, Santiago and Amelia Cordova of Oklahoma City, OK; also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, Thursday, December 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Brother Raphael Navarro officiating. Interment will follow at Glennville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Oscar Hernandez, JoJo Sanchez, Victor Cordova, Leonel Saldana, Gera Juarez, Luis Hernandez, Andres Ochoa.
