Jose Luis Perez Nunez

Jose Luis Perez, age 62, passed away at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah on February 7, 2020.  The native of Hidalgo MX moved to South Georgia in 1996.  Upon his relocation here he began working in the construction industry.  He became a skilled heavy equipment operator and was employed with McCurdy Construction for over 23 years.  He was dedicated to his job, but he was devoted to his Lord.  Jose served and worshiped at Ministerio Profectico Casa de Dios in Claxton.  In his free time, he loved spending time with his three German Shepherds; Machete, Daisy, and Sasha.  Jose is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Yrendira Perez Nunez.

Jose leaves a family to carry on his memories that include his wife, Irma Dianna Perez of Collins; three sons; 1 daughter; 1 brother; 3 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

A family gathering and visitation was held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial in Reidsville.  Funeral services were also conducted on Sunday, February 9.  Interment will take place in San Antonio in a private service.
