Joey McCullough, age 53, passed away Monday, October 6th, 2014 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. The Florida native had lived in Tattnall County most of his life moving to Register nine years ago. He was employed with Gary Bustle Painting. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandsons. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas McCullough, mother, Mary Sapp, and a brother, Tommy McCullough.

He is survived by, his daughter, Robin McCullough of Statesboro; sister, Ruth Ann Sapp of Evans County; girlfriend, Vicky Fail of Register; step children, Cliff Fail of Portal, Amy Finch of Metter, Catherine Fail and, April May both of Register nephew, Barry Sapp, Jr. of Evans County; nine step grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 6:00pm Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Tybee Island Pier.
