Joseph Phillip Vrcan

Joseph Phillip Vrcan, age 71 passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his residence from mesothelioma. He was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, moving to Bluffton 8 years ago. He attended St. Gregory Catholic Church in Bluffton. Joseph was an avid golfer who enjoyed going on cruises and loved spending time with his family. He was employed with Lincoln Electric Company and retired after 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Vrcan; son, Todd Vrcan of Boulder, CO; daughter, Brooke (Jeffrey) Simer of Southlake, TX; brother, John (Debbie) Vrcan of Mentor, Ohio; sister, Evelyn Florjancic of OH; grandchildren, Victoria Vrcan, Olivia Vrcan, Natalie Vrcan, Austin Simer and Avery Simer.

A memorial mass will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Bluffton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hilton Head Humane Association at www.hhhumane.org.
