Obituary
Joy Bowling Peters,
age 66 passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at
Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia. The Ohio native had lived in
Reidsville the past nine years. She was a homemaker that loved to read and
was a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church. Ms. Peters is preceded
in death by her husband, Harold Peters and brothers, Leonard and Charlie Bowling.
She is survived by her sons, Chad Peters of Reidsville, Terry Huff of New York, Eddie Nickell and
Danny Peters both of Ohio. Brothers, Abe and Stanley Bowling of Ohio. Sister, Eva McComb of
Mississippi. Four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Friday, July 23, 2010 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson
Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday July 25, 2010 from Fairview Cemetery in
Berea, Kentucky.
Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
