Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Flowers Roberson
, age 61 passed away Sunday,
November 13, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.
She had lived in Tattnall County most of her life. She was a
1968 graduate of Glennville High School and worked at Fort
Stewart many years. She was also the owner of Wordworks
and after a personal injury she became a fulltime homemaker.
Mrs. Joyce was a member of Hope Baptist Church and was
preceded in death by her parents, David Flowers, Sr. and Carolyn
Anderson Whitfield; brothers, Wayne and Mickey Flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 33yrs, Johnny I. Roberson of Reidsville.
Son and daughter-in-law, Gary C. (Betty Deckard) Roberson of Brooklet.
Daughter, April J. Roberson of Reidsville. Brothers, Wade Flowers of Brooklet,
Emory Flowers of Savannah, Charles Flowers of Reidsville, David Flowers of
Collins. Sister, June Gast of Metter. Four grandchildren, Hunter Deckard, Chantel
Withers, Amanda Stiggins and Andrew Stiggins.Numerous nieces and nephews
also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Tuesday from the Reidsville Chapel
Funeral Services will be conducted 12:00pm Wednesday November 16, 2011 from the Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Hope Baptist Church.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel
