Juanita (Wilkes) Sharpe

Ms. Juanita W.  Sharpe, age 93, passed away, Saturday, December 10, 2022 at her daughter’s residence in Glennville.  She was born on June 10, 1929 in Reidsville to Dewey Chester and Mattie Lee Wilkes.  She was a homemaker that loved to bake sweets and tend to her African Violets.  Ms. Juanita was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church of Reidsville and is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles “Shorty” Sharpe.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Dotson (Suzanne Scovil) of Glennville; her siblings, C.G. Wilkes of Garden City, Susie Rowland of Reidsville, and I.D. (Debbie) Wilkes of Augusta; grandchildren, Jerome (Lynn) Dotson of Reidsville and Melanie (Bobby) Carder of Glennville; great grandchildren, Cody (Steffany) Dotson of Reidsville, Kaitlin Dotson of Savannah, Casey Dotson of Statesboro, David Braddy, Jr. of Soperton, and Zach Braddy of Soperton;  great great grandchildren, Jacy Dotson and Jack Dotson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Reverend Rusty Manning officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Reidsville.

Pallbearers will be Roger Sharpe, Jesse Sharpe, Cody Dotson, Aldrick Hill, Steve Revels and Casey Dotson.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Sharpe family.
