Glennville,
Judy Wells Griffis, age 49, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville most of her life until moving to Darien four years ago. She had worked at Armstrong Cricket Farms for many years before moving to Darien. She was a lover of all kind of animals and was a member of Poplar Head Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Coy Lee and Betty Wells, nephew, Christopher Dubberly; brother-in-law, Dean Waters.
She is survived by her children, Joseph Griffis, Danielle Griffis, and Cody Griffis all of Glennville; brother, Edward Wells of Darien, Sisters, Kathy Sapp and Susan Waters both of Glennville; grandchildren, Jayden Carter Johnson and River Folker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 6:00pm from the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation Services and Burial with the Reverend Jeffery Blocker officiating. Interment will be in Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
