Judy (Jacobs) Lane

Judy Jacobs Lane, age 63 passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.  The Brantley County native had lived in Collins the past seventeen years.  She was a cosmetologist and a homemaker.  Judy loved gardening, sewing, her Church and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of Christian Life Fellowship Church and was preceded death by her parents, Lewis and Isabell Jacobs; siblings, Janice Jacobs, Dewitt Jacobs, Jerry Jacobs, and Faye Howell.

She is survived by her husband, William O. “Shine” Lane of Collins; children, Michelle (John) Hadley of Ft. Hood, TX, Robert (Casey) Anderson of Cobbtown; Deborah Shrader of Callahan, FL, Thomas Anderson of Orange Park, FL; siblings, Janett (Billy L. Sr) Newton of Cleveland, TX and Tommy Jacobs of Brantley County; grandchildren, Meghan, Matthew, Myles, Shyanne, Mack, Alan, Rorie, and Jackie; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 3:00pm Sunday, December 1, 2013 from the Christian Life Fellowship Church in Cobbtown with the funeral services to begin at 4:00pm with the Dr. Murl Gwynn officiating.
