Julius Eugene Ridgdill

Julius Eugene Ridgdill age 73, passed away on January 18, 2021 at McLeod Health Clarendon. He was born August 9, 1947 in Savannah, GA. He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Julius was a retired welder for the Charleston Naval Shipyard.

He was preceded in death by his parents Julius R. Ridgdill and Juanita Carroll Cobb, and his wife Delores Weaver Ridgdill.

He is survived by a stepson, Shay Weaver of Florence, SC; a stepdaughter Tammy Horton (Owens) of Olanta, SC; two daughters, Julie Ridgdill Sayer (Terry) of Supply, NC and Joy Ridgdill Hawkins (Charles) of Pooler, GA; two sisters, Donna Joy  Ridgdill Torres of San Antonio, TX and Pamela Cobb Smith (Greg) of Jesup, GA; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021  at North Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery in Vidalia, GA.  Military honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force.
