June Thompson Cowart, age 61, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Pruitt Health Care Hospice Center in North Augusta. She was a native of Tattnall County and moved to South Carolina several years ago. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed working with her flowers and cooking in her spare time. She was truly a Christian who loved the Lord and attended Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Graniteville, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge and Lucille Barrow Thompson.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Theresa) Cowart of Sweetwater, Texas; brother, Tony (Debra) Thompson of Glennville; sisters, Brenda (Timmy B.) Dubberly of Glennville and Judy (Dean) Cameron  of Claxton; stepmother, Linda Thompson; half-brothers and half-sisters, Danny Thompson, Randy Thompson, Tammy (Jessie) Baker, Tommy Thompson, and Mandy (Grant) Goodrich; special aunt, Delene Mann; grandchildren: Jordan Cowart; Daniel Cowart, Jr., Ashton Hannah; Gage Hannah; Robbi Hannah and Noah Hannah; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held 6:30pm, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Smyrna Baptist Church with the Reverend Edward Brannen officiating.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Cowart family.
