Obituary
Karen Gionet, age 63 passed away after a short illness, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was a native of Boston, Massachusetts, living in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Hinesville. She attended Florida Community College. She was a member of Live Oak Church of God and had been attending A New Beginning Church in Ludowici. Karen enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, cooking, and gardening. She truly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dogs. Karen had a special passion for life and always looked after others often before herself. She was too good for this world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dorothea Lynch; brother, Steve Lynch; and a grandson, Darren Thomas Carter.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Gionet of Jacksonville, FL; three daughters, Lorin (Reuben) Wells, Michelle (Sam) Miness, Kimberly Carter all of Hinesville. Two brothers, Michael Lynch and Thomas Lynch; two sisters, Donna Raulerson and Kathy (Stephen) Jager; also survived by thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will begin 12:00pm Thursday, November 1, 2012 with funeral services to follow at 1:00pm from A New Beginning Church in Ludowici with the Reverend Tom Gardner officiating. Interment will be in the Hinesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joel Wells, Tyler Aceto, Kyle Knott, Donavin Wells, Connor Wells, Herbie Zimmerman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryan Thomas, David Allen Thomas, Jason Lynch, Mark Lynch, Kevin Raulerson, Sean Raulerson.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel is serving the Gionet family.
