Byron, GA
Karen Florence Levy, age 55, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon. She was born in Vidalia on June 19, 1964 to Shelly and Evie Wood McCumber and had lived in Byron many years. She was known to be a kind hearted, loving soul of her children, grandchildren, and family. There wasn’t a day that went by that she wasn’t thinking of someone other than herself. She has always had a huge love for any and all animals, if she could she would have had a zoo. She will be greatly remembered for teaching someone what she had learned in her life to pass on her knowledge. She always enjoyed the thrill and adrenaline from watching and riding in race cars with her brother Keith. Her face would light up when talking and learning about flowers from her mother Evie. She loved to reminisce and talk about music with her brother Kevin. She thrived on teaching her girls how to defend themselves and be independent. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She is survived by her four daughters, Katrina Barlow 37, Nicole Jones 33, Whitney Schwartz 31, and Ashley Schwartz 29; siblings, Keith (Claudia) Fields and Kevin Bowker; fiance, Gus Rising; mother, Evie Bowker; father, Shelly McCumber;grandchildren, Kaitlyn Schwartz 17, Chastity Woodle 16, Taylor Woodle 14, Cheyenne Schwartz 13, Dalton Thacker 12, Nicholas Jones 10, Riley Culwell 10, Hunter Barnes 9, Makayla Lewis 6, Nathan Barlow 3, and Dallas Jones 2; several nieces and nephews
