Karlene S. Henry-Sappleton, age 51 passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica on March 18, 1970 to Seaford and Pauline Campbell Henry. She had lived in Jamaica, New York prior to relocating to Hinesville two years ago. Karlene was a hard worker and truly loved to see about her family and enjoyed cooking. She is preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Sappleton of Hinesville; children, Giovanni Sappleton, Orane (Genell) Sappleton and Akiel Sappleton all of Hinesville; father, Seaford Henry of Manchester, Jamaica; 9 brothers, 4 sisters and numerous other relatives also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00pm, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Glennville Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Carole Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be Akiel Sappleton, Orane Sappleton, Anthony Sappleton, David Arcelay, James Henry and Delroy Henry.
