Karyn Zettler Reese, 68 , of Glennville passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Karyn was born in Savannah, Georgia, on August 15, 1948 . She graduated from Savannah High School and later received a nursing degree from Armstrong State University. She then went on to work at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA, for 11 years. Karyn is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Mary Nell Zettler; brother, James Nixon Zettler, Jr .

Karyn is survived by her only daughter, Whitney Palefsky, son-in-law, David Ketron; sister, Gail Shuman; nephew, Ryan Burkett; best friend, Lydia Arseneau; 6 grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Savannah .

A memorial service will be held 11:00am Thursday, July 27, 2017 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home.
