Kate (Eason) Emerson

Obituary

Mrs. Kate Eason Tootle Emerson age 87, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia. The Toombs County native had lived in Lyons most of her life. She retired from Meadows Regional Medical Center after serving many years as a unit secretary. She was a member of the Lyons Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her husbands, James (Jim) A. Tootle and James (Jim) M. Emerson and a son, David Tootle.

She is survived by two daughters, Patsey Campbell of Swainsboro and Gail T. Dykes of
Vidalia; two sons, Dannie Tootle and Mitchell Tootle both of McIntosh County; three grandchildren,
Bryan Campbell of Swainsboro, Austin Campbell and Scott Dykes both of Vidalia; four great-
grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from the Reidsville City Cemetery with the Reverend Marc Foster officiating.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel is serving the Tootle-Emerson family.
