Kathleen "Kathy" O'Brien Davis

Kathleen “Kathy” O’Brien Davis, age 72 passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia. The Montgomery County native had lived in Reidsville for many years before moving to Vidalia in 2009. She retired after 29 years of service as a commercial art teacher with the Georgia Department of Corrections. Kathy had taught art and ceramic classes for many years and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Hazel Tillman O’Brien, and husband, Kenneth Michael “Mike” Davis.

She is survived by her son, Brien (Tricia) Davis of Vidalia; siblings, Jerry O’Brien of Alpharetta, GA and Mary (Johnny) Davis of Mt. Vernon, GA; also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will begin at 5:00pm, Thursday, February 22, 2018 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with a memorial service to follow at 6:00pm with the Reverend Randy McDuffie officiating.
