June Bowen Rush

June Bowen Rush, age 66 of Reidsville passed away on October 18, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness while under the care of Community Hospice. June was born on May 10, 1957 in Augusta, Georgia.  She was the fourth daughter to Jim and Ann Bowen. She loved being a wife to her loving husband, Joe for almost 50 years. She loved being a mother, but she loved being a grandmother more. She is preceded in death by her parents, her children, Jody Rush and Jennifer Crawford, brothers, Mitchell James Bowen and Adrian Bowen.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Joe Rush; daughter, Joy (Shawn) Barlow; grandchildren, Adrianna (Shontelle) Barlow, Kaitlyn Crawford, Sarah Crawford, Nathan Tanner and Braylen Jarriel; siblings, Ed (Achara) Bowen, Mikki (Ben) Smith, Patricia (Wayne) Carpenter, Debra (Len) Herrington, Zack Bowen and Irina Bowen. Also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
