Mr. Keith Edwards, age 63, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Savannah on June 24, 1958 to George and Mary Helen Hammond Edwards and had lived in Glennville all of his adult life.  Keith was employed with DS Smith (formerly Interstate Paper) for the past 40 years.  He was an avid hunter, enjoyed watching cooking shows, eating and anything historical.  He was a dedicated member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church where he also served as the song leader. He is preceded in death by his parents, a baby, step mother, Lois Edwards, brothers, Ted Edwards, Paul Edwards, grandson, Tyler Wachter and great-grandson, Brayden Palmer.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mrs. Loreasa Edwards of Glennville; children, Brian (Deanna) Edwards, Carolyn (Elliot) Coursey, Moreasa Edwards, Joshua (Elizabeth) Edwards, Belinda Edwards and Nathan Edwards all of Glennville; brothers, Tommy (Nolene) Edwards of Fleming and George (Debbie) Edwards of Brunswick; grandchildren, Aaron Barr, Bradley Edwards, Lauren Edwards, Alyssa Edwards, Haileigh Coursey, Alex Coursey, Mark Coursey, Joe (Samantha) Coursey,  Kaelyn Edwards, Mabry Edwards, Lana Wachter, Prudence Wachter and Connor Wachter; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Glennville Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Wooten and Dr. Phill Kidd officiating.  Interment will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Edwards, Joshua Edwards, Nathan Edwards, Bradley Edwards, Elliot Coursey and Vince Poole

Memorials may be given to the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Building Fund, 300 Kennedy Street, Glennville, Ga 30427.
