Keith Love, age 63, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia surrounded by his loving family. Keith was born in Cheverly, Maryland on April 25, 1961, to Herbert and Velma Burns Love and had lived in Glennville most of his life. He was a 1979 graduate of the Glennville High School.
Keith led a fulfilling life shaped by his dedication to roadway construction for most of his working career. He also ventured into the world of Insurance as an Agent at American General, where he shone brightly and earned several awards for his exceptional production.
His charismatic personality was evident to all who knew him; he had the biggest heart and a unique nickname for everyone he met. Keith cherished his role as a grandfather and adored his grandsons immensely. His love for all sports, particularly baseball, golf, fishing, and hunting, reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for life.
Keith is a member of the Glennville First Baptist Church and is reunited in eternity with his parents and stepfather, Marcus Faircloth.
Among those mourning his loss are his devoted wife of 37 years, Leslie Love of Glennville; daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Trey James of Reidsville; brother and sister-in-law Victor and JonAnn Love of Claxton; sister and brother-in-law Sally and Steve Browning of Savannah; beloved grandsons Reid and Ridge James; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jesse and Margaret Durrence of Glennville; sisters-in-law Lisa (Mike) Austin of Thomaston, Lori (Jack) Wilson, Jennifer (Derek) Bland all of Glennville; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation to honor Keith's life will take place on Monday, July 29th at The Glennville Funeral Home beginning at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 30th beginning at 11:00am from the Chapel of the Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverends Mike Howard and Quentin Mcarthur officiating. Interment will be in the Glennville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sam Busby, Mark Pedrick, Jimmy Dasher, John Baxter, Brian Nall, Ricky Burkhalter, Dale Wasson, and Craig Nobles.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Shuman's Glennville Senior Elite Baseball Team.
Memorials may be given to Community Hospice Foundation, 904 Mt. Vernon Road, Vidalia, GA 30474
