Ken Ford , age 81, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton.  The Kentucky native had lived in Albany and Newnan before moving to Tattnall County twenty two years ago.  He had served as the CFO and an Administrator of Emory Hospital, Administrator of the Newnan Hospital and retired as the Administrator of Tattnall Memorial Hospital.  He was a long time member and former President of Hospital Financial Management Association.  Ken was also a former member of the Rotary Club and the Kiwanis, as well as a past president of the Chamber of Commerce.  He had served in the United States Air Force, and he attended the Reidsville United Methodist Church.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Woodward.

Ken is survived by his wife of 32yrs, Jane Ford of Collins; children, Angie Allison of Seattle, WA, Gina Miller of Collins, and Kenny (Ashley) Ford, Jr.  of Statesboro;  blessed by three girls, Kayla, Erika, and Alyssa Keeton; grandson, Drew Miller of Collins.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30PM on Friday, October 28, 2016 from the Reidsville United Methodist Church with the Reverend Marc Foster officiating.  Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with military honors.
