Kenneth McKinnon

Kenneth McKinnon was born November 10th 1951 to Jimmy and Rena Collins McKinnon.  He departed this life on August 23rd 2021 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center at the age of 69.  He was educated in the Tattnall County Schools and would go on to work for Canoochee EMC.  He was a member of St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church.  He loved to fish, spend time with his family; making them laugh, and will be best remembered for riding his bicycle all over town.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Rena McKinnon, his grandmother Rosa L Jackson his brother Ellaroe McKinnon, and nephew Anthony Brown

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter Sharonda (James) Golden; two granddaughters, Kamoria and Brianna Golden; three brothers, Harvey Jackson, James (Willie) McKinnon, and Ellis (Annette) McKinnon; four sisters, Geraldine Berry, Rosa (Daniel) Brewton, Boncella Brown, and Lesia Felder; one godson, Destin Robinson; a special friend, Theresa Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 27, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial in Reidsville.  Rev. Dr. Artis Carswell will officiate committal services at the conclusion of the visitation.

Burial will be private.

Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the McKinnon family during this time of bereavement.
