Christopher Kyle Floyd, age 26, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Reidsville.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He had worked at Collins Mobile Homes and in his free time he loved to sing, go to the beach and the mountains.  Most importantly, he loved to spend time with his family.  Kyle is preceded in death by his sister, Crystal Hardwick Mulling; grandmother, Brenda Smith; and an uncle, Donald Padgett.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Joyce of Reidsville; father, Grover Floyd IV of Colorado; brothers, Gary Padgett of Reidsville and Brandon Floyd of Colorado; grandparents, Hubert and Grace Padgett, Grover Cleveland Floyd III of South Carolina, Sylvester (Susan) Smith, Jr of Reidsville; four nieces; three nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm Thursday from the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am, Friday, December 23, 2016 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with the Reverend Robert Powell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
