Lanier Holland, age 27, passed away on Thursday April 25, 2024. Born on November 17, 1996, in Statesboro, Lanier had lived in Collins all of his life. He was a proud graduate of Tattnall County High School Class of 2015 and later went on to excel at Ogeechee Technical College. He was employed with Ferrellgas in Vidalia.
In addition to his dedication to his career and education, Lanier had a vibrant personality. He found joy in simple pleasures - whether it was spending time with friends, grilling delicious meals, or tinkering with 4 wheelers. His love for the outdoors shone through in his hobbies; hunting, fishing, riding buggies, and soaking up the tranquility of the river brought him immense happiness. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ginger Hardin and Joe McDaniel; great grandmothers, Grandma Ene, Nannie Thelma and Grandma Helen.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Tisha Holland of Collins; his sisters and brother in law, Chelsea and Will Jarriel of Statesboro and Cassidy Holland of Collins; special friend and her son, Dallas Earls and Greyson; grandparents, Bobby and Linda Holland of Collins and Gary and Velma Curl of Reidsville; nephew, Holland Jarriel; aunts and uncles, Holly and Derrell Thigpen of Collins, Kelly and Wes Weaver of NC, Shelly and Stuart Wilcox of Collins, Haley and Jason Peacock of Claxton, Joey and Angela Curl of MS and Brian and Heather Curl of Collins; his K9 companion, Ellie; many cousins and friends
The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00pm on Sunday, April 28, 2024, with the funeral services to follow at 4:00pm with Reverend Andy Carter officiating in the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.
Pallbearers will be Cody Curl, Justin Curl, Austin Curl, Max Wilcox, Cody Denmark, Rudy Fowler, Devan Stanfield, Billy Kulick, Shawn Williams and TJ Wilson
