Larry Homer Bennett, age 58 passed away
Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Hospice Satilla in
Waycross. He was born in Clay County Florida on
July 12, 1956 to Felton Bennett and Eunice Catherine
Edenfield and lived in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Larry
was an excellent dairyman who had worked in Florida and
Georgia. He loved the outdoors, people and his family. He
was a wonderful friend, brother, husband and father. He will
be truly missed by his family and friends. He was
preceded in death by his parents, sister, Deborah Bennett Tyler.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Bennett of Hazlehurst; sons,
Larry Z. Bennett of Hazlehurst, Oscar (Traci) Bennett of Pell City,
AL, Kenneth (Alyce) Fowler of Mershon, GA; daughters, Vickie
(Tony) McCarter of Haleyville, Al, Micaiya Bennett and Isabella
Bennett both of Hazlehurst; brothers, Brady (Joyce) Bennett of
Middlesburgh, FL, James Bennett of Flora Home, FL, Charles
Bennett of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces,
nephews in Florida and Georgia.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. with funeral services to follow at 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 16, 2015 from the
Glennville Chapel of Low Country Cremation Services and Burial. Services will
conclude at the chapel.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Bennett family.
